Buildings Stood Atop Taman Kota Channel Demolished

As much as 50 joint personnel of Satpol PP and PPSU have demolished 10 buildings and 12 small bridges standing on Taman Kota's connecting channel, RT 016/05 Kembangan Sub-district, West Jakarta, Monday (3/14). It is carried out to smoothen normalization project.

Most the owners have demolished their buildings by themselves. And the rest of 10 buildings and 12 bridges will be demolished gradually

Kembangan Sub-district Secretary, Sefri Dwipayuda disclosed, from 53 buildings, some were been demolished by the owner.

"Most the owners have demolished their buildings by themselves. And the rest of 10 buildings and 12 bridges will be demolished gradually," she stated, Monday (3/14).

Head of Kembangan Sub-district Water Management Section, Yusuf Kasim added, mud dredging is temporarily carried out manually due to narrow street. Thus the heavy equipment cannot enter.

"We will coordinate with Kembangan Sub-district to dredge mud using heavy equipment," he finished.
